That was a bit of an unexpected hiatus. The holiday season is always the buisest for those of us who work in tourism here in NYC, and with my old tablet not being able to be fixed getting a good quality page done wasn't feasible. Everything should be back to schedule from here to then end of the "Fantastical Duels" series. I'll be taking a planned hiatus after that to prepare for the next seris of Epic duels which will be called "Historical Duels".
Dinosaurs are always fun. Although we do know a lot about them there is still quite a bit we don't know. For instance did T-Rex have any feathers. For a while it seemed quite likely they did because some of their close relatives had them. Then some skin fossils were found for T-Rex's that seemed to prove that they had no feathers. Those skin patches were small though, and didn't cover the part of the T-rex most likely to be covered if they were used to help guard against the sun. which is were I put the feathers. I also added a bit of a mutton chop, that was mostly fancy, but they seem like they would be a likely display for attracting a mate. Trying to make good dinosaurs for this comic gave me an even greater degree of respect for paleo-artists than I had before.
